Wiener Fest!

For those of you who have dogs and are looking for something to do on Saturday, go out to Wolfpen Creek for Wiener Fest. Wiener Fest is a family-oriented, dog-friendly annual event. They will have different contests for dogs of any breed, not just dachshunds, including a costume contest and races. There will be fun to be had by the entire family (dog included)!

There will also be a 5k run…or walk, for people like me. There will be vendors on site, food and drinks, and activities for the kids. I’ll be out of town on Saturday and I’m a little disappointed that I’ll be missing this good time. The Brazos Animal Shelter will also be there with some of their adoptable dogs.
